Death and Literature Reading Group at the Coffin Works: Sarah Hall “Sudden Traveller”
Sunday 19th May at 2.30pm
To round out A Matter of Life and Death at Coffin Works this Dying Matters Week, we will be launching a new death and literature reading group. We will come together to discuss topics of death and dying in literature, starting with the reading of Sarah Hall’s short story “Sudden Traveller” shortlisted for the BBC National Short Story Award 2018. The link to the audio version of the story is here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06lhks3
All are invited to a FREE reading group at 2.30pm, facilitated by Laura Joyce our writer in residence. There will be tea and cake. There is no need to read ahead as we’ll all listen together on the day.
Booking is essential as places are limited. Book here
Donations for refreshments would be gratefully received.
