As part of BrumYODO: A Matter of Life and Death Festival 2018, Don’t Go Into The Cellar will be back at The Coffin Works! Bringing tales of unease by MR James in The Witching Hour, where we learn that the dead are not always grateful…

Montague Rhodes James returns with another selection of unsettling tales of antiquarian terror! Brave the horrors lying in wait within “An Episode of Cathedral History”! Witness the spectral malevolent seeking revenge in “A Warning to the Curious”! One-man show and follow-up to our successful touring production of  “Old Haunts”.
Jonathan Goodwin plays M R James in a show scripted by himself, and directed by Gary Archer.

Tickets are £10.00 and are available through Eventbrite.

Please be aware that this performance is not suitable for children under the age of 12, due to the subject matter.

This performance will take place at the Coffin Works, in one of its heritage spaces. It’s advisable to wear coats as rooms can be chilly. No food or drink allowed.
